World Renowned Corporate Leaders Featured At Taylor’s Leadership Executive Series

Belief in the brand, a clear vision of what success looks like for the brand and what that success will mean for its stakeholders, especially the customers – these are some of the ingredients to build a world class brand, according to former CEO of Porsche Cars and BMW, Kevin Gaskell.

“The challenges at Porsche were identified when the difficult economic situation highlighted weaknesses inside the company. These weaknesses included a lack of strategic vision, aging product line, lack of research and development investment and overall loss of focus on the values and heritage of the brand. The biggest issue we faced at this stage was a loss of confidence and this needed to be addressed quickly,” says Gaskell, who will be sharing practical lessons and professional experiences at the upcoming Taylor’s Executive Leadership Series at Taylor’s University.

Themed “Inspire those you lead”, the Taylor’s Executive Leadership Series is a unique platform that brings together world renowned CEO’s to Taylor’s University to share some of their best practices and insights on leading global corporations.

Professor Peter Cochrane, Former head of Research, Innovation at British Telecom; R. Gopalakrishnan, Director of Tata Sons; Andy Xie, Renowned Economist and Managing Director of Morgan Stanley (1997); along with Kevin Gaskell will share their insights on leadership and leading global brands during the two-day event.

Organised by Taylor’s Centre for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) in collaboration with The London Speaker Bureau, the Series is a powerful tool available for business leaders, CEO’s, entrepreneurs and managers to expand their leadership capabilities and gain a deeper understanding on the role of effective leadership and management.
