The pandemic has exposed a glaring weak point in small and medium enterprises (‘SMEs’) which is the lack of adaptability to digitisation and automation. This is not only due to the lack of knowledge among SMEs on how to digitalise their businesses but also the incorrect assumption that digitalisation and automation are costly and difficult to implement.
With this in mind, a webinar on ‘Digitising SMEs in Turbulent Times’ will be held via Zoom on 3 September 2021 from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. The webinar is the second in a series of webinars under SME Lighthouse initiative driven by TARCian Veteran Alumni in collaboration with Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (‘TAR UC’).
Members of the public can attend the webinar for free and among the key topics that would be discussed include the reasons why digitisation is important for SMEs, misinformation on digitisation, strategies to implement affordable digitisation and what areas of digitisation will generate better return on investment (RoI).
Webinar attendees will also receive a complimentary e-copy of “Guidelines on Government’s Stimulus Package and Financial Assistance for Malaysian SMEs”.
