As the sigh of despair from the Small and Medium Enterprises (‘SMEs’) reverberates across the country during the protracted pandemic, alumni of Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (‘TAR UC’) take the initiative to share how SMEs can survive these turbulent times by ensuring business continuity in a webinar via Zoom happening on 17 August 2021 at 2.30pm.
Organised as part of the SME Lighthouse initiative driven by TARCian Veteran Alumni and in collaboration with TAR UC, the webinar themed “Navigating the Turbulence for SMEs: Pathway for SME’s Survival and Sustainability” is open to the public. Registered participants will also be given access to an e-copy of “Guidelines on Government’s Stimulus Package and Financial Assistance for Malaysian SMEs” compiled by TAR UC for free.
The SME Lighthouse initiative is a national voluntary non-profit initiative spearheaded by TAR UC Veteran Alumni to support all SMEs in Malaysia that need guidance to navigate the present economic turbulence, to ensure survival and sustainability.
This informative webinar features prominent speakers, who have years of experience in business turnarounds under their belt and are successful leaders in their respective fields.
Webinar speakers include Dato’ Sri Liow Tiong Lai, Chairman of TAR UC’s Board of Governors, Tan Sri Dato’ Soh Thian Lai, President of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr Lau Ban Tin,
Economist/Entrepreneur and Mr Tiang Woon Meng, Assurance Partner at PwC Malaysia. They will be leading the discussion on what SMEs should do under the present situations in order to ensure business continuity.
