（Wednesday 11 November 2015）The writer is of the opinion that more government-backed spaces are needed for local artists to showcase work, with a nominal fee. Artists are currently hindered by high rental costs. NAFA galleries have been cited as one of the spaces that are currently used to showcase local work, alongside the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Ngee Ann Cultural Centre, National Library, commercial galleries, hotels and other large spaces.
