法律系是一门培养专业律师 (Lawyer) 的科系。此科系的学生不仅将研究现有的法律条文 (Provision of Law) 与法律案例 (Legal Case)，也须探讨所有与法律有关的学问，如法律意识、合法与非法行为的定义、法律的产生、特征、作用、本质，以及法律与其他社会现象的关系等。学生将被训练成为有能力提供专业法律咨询 (Legal Advice)、能为当事人准备与处理法律文件、在法庭代表当事人的专业律师。

在本地私立学院修读法律系，一般上只要确定是属于英国的法津文凭，都可以报考律师公会之CLP，再透过考试及实习成为合格律师。

只要是马来西亚法律鉴定局（Legal Qualifying Board）承认的法学位（LLB），不单只是英国，也包括其他英联邦国家，都可参加法律执业资格考试（CLP）。查查马来西亚法律鉴定局的网站吧。
Do you mean the U of London LLB extrenal degree? It is recognised in Malaysia. As for Singapore, you need to check with the country’s legal authority. Try search in web. We can’t answer to you whether CLP is hard or not…just try the hardest and do your best!

可以去参考各大学的科系录取条件然后做决定你在中六要拿什么科目。想做律师？就从自己开始动手查找资料吧！

A Diploma programme will not lead you to the legal practise. You will need a regconised law degree (LLB) to be a lawyer. Pls check with Segi whether the diploma will link to a degree course.

要成为出色的律师，必须有很强的语文掌握能力。在马来西亚法庭一般使用马来文，但可申请要求使用英文。如想在国外当律师，你必须得到该国律师公会的承认，建议你到该国的律师公会了解受承认的学位。

If study Law at ukm…..they will teach by using Malay?….so if i wan to become solicitor or find the job in the future…is it also use Malay or English in preparing the documents??
Normally the lectures in local universities use Malay and English. This also happens in job field which these two languages are used frequently.

Can I straight away study law after SPM?
No. All students have to go through at least 1 year of the foundation course before they can enter to the undergraduate degree course.
