(17 October 2015, Saturday) Chua Mia Tee: Born in 1931 in Shantou, China, Chua Mia Tee came to Singapore with his father when he was 6, to escape the Japanese bombings. He enrolled in NAFA in 1950, and graduated two years later.
The article goes on to elaborate about Chua’s artistic journey for the past 65 years, and Chua ends off by saying that he is lucky that his works are popular, and that he has chosen the right path.
