Quest International University Perak is proud to appoint Ms Yap Suan See, Vice President / Managing Director of Finisar Malaysia Sdn Bhd as our industrial advisor for the Faculty of Integrative Sciences and Technology (FIST) on April 2016. Finisar is the world’s largest supplier of optical communication products for nearly three decades. They have led the industry in creating as well as delivering break-through optics technology and world-class products that improve the way we communicate.
This appointment is in line with the university’s commitment to ensure that our programmes are industry-relevant and our students are job ready when they graduate. We are confident that Ms Yap’s vast experience will contribute immensely to the future development of FIST.
She will be reviewing the programmes with an expert’s focus on its relevance to industry requirements and enhancing it continuously to meet the future requirements of the industry. She will also advise the faculty on relevant matters in order to stay abreast of technology and industry practices as well as sustain the academic standard of programmes.
