Presenting Holiao – the virtual graduation exhibition of batch AD1901-1 from The One Academy’s School of Advertising & Graphic Design. After three years of perfecting their art and design prowess, this team of designers are ready to serve you with some stunning specialities.
Holiao a.k.a good stuff is the perfect word to describe their skills as they have produced a truly interesting showcase. Riding on the theme of a restaurant serving up creative flavours, they present their portfolio and works done throughout their time at The One Academy.
The team consists of 12 graduates – Hoo Xin Zi, Ashley Ng, Lim Ching Yee, Jin Jin, Clarissa Chrysantia, Ng Hui Thong, Lau Sze Leng, Emily Cheng, Isabelle Chong, Chong Win Jett, Chai Bao Yi and Cordelia Aileen Sutanto.
Having spent two out of their 3-year education journey attending classes remotely, the shift to cope with the Covid-19 pandemic sure was challenging, but it did not deter this batch of creatives! Battling unstable network, background noises and malfunctioning devices, they persevered with hard work.
The team thanked The One Academy for giving them the opportunity to make their creative dreams a reality. “We were able to push through obstacles thanks to our lecturers – we’ve definitely tested their patience every other day, nevertheless, they offered us genuine guidance throughout our time here”.
Today, these designers are ready to step our into the real world and carve a name for themselves.
The virtual showcase exhibits work done by these talented designers which include branding, publication designs, corporate identity, icon design, packaging design and loads more. In a world where 94% of first impressions are design related (Research Gate), there is more demand now than ever for skilled creatives in the advertising and graphic design field.
