Miri – 10 October 2016 – Over 40 leading employers nationwide will be represented at the Curtin Career Fair 2016 being held at the campus of Curtin University, Sarawak Malaysia (Curtin Sarawak) from 13 to 14 October 2016.
Students and alumni of Curtin Sarawak, as well as students from other institutions of higher learning and working adults looking to advance their careers, will have the opportunity to meet with representatives of these employers and find out more about career opportunities in their respective industries and companies.
Themed ‘Your Career, Your Choice. Seek Passion!’ and organised by the Career & Alumni Services section of the varsity’s University Life Department, the fair will open from 9 am to 4 pm on both days at the Recreation and Event Centre.
Admission is free and potential employees are advised to bring along their resumes, cover letters, transcripts and other related documents for on-the-spot interviews.
Next to its graduation ceremonies and open day, the Curtin Career Fair is one of the biggest events in Curtin Sarawak’s annual calendar of events. It never fails to draw a significant number of employers from both East and West Malaysia each year.

The opening ceremony on 13 October will be officiated by Dr Abdul Rahman Deen, Director of the Workforce Development Unit of the Sarawak Chief Minister’s Department.
