(17 March 2016, Thursday) An interview with Singapore designer, Max Tan, who was recently named one of the participants of Fashion Futures 2.0, a mentorship program aimed at taking established Singapore fashion brands to the worldwide market.
Max shared that he had a fond interest in painting and arts in general while growing up, which led to him enrolling in the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, eventually choosing fashion as his course of study. With the introduction of the Parco NEXT incubation project in 2010 (a fashion mentoring program), he left his full time job as a stylist and began designing full time.
