Sixteen Burmese refugee children in Kuala Lumpur, aged 13-16 years, will give us a glimpse into their lives, at the “Everyone Has Hope” Exhibition.
Over the past few months, these children have been taught the art of photography, with the help of a dedicated group of Taylor’s College students and staff, and support of the British Council’s Global Changemakers, The Annexe Gallery and Amnesty International Malaysia.
Do you want to see through their eyes? Then make your way to the “Everyone Has Hope” exhibition:
Date: November 19-21, 2010 (Friday – Sunday)
Time: 11.00 am – 8.00 pm
Venue: The Annexe Gallery, Central Market, Kuala Lumpur
The opening of the exhibition will be held on November 18, 2010 (Thursday) at 8.00 pm.
Presented by “See The World Through Our Eyes” project, the purpose of this project was to allow the children to develop their skills in the arts, enjoy themselves, and ultimately tell their story to the world.
